This world class facility provides physical model testing with combined waves, currents and wind, offered at scales appropriate for environmental modelling and coastal engineering. There will also be a tour of the new Babbage building, at the University of Plymouth, which was opened at the end of 2023. The new building hosts contemporary specialist equipment andlaboratories. The aim of the space is to enable creative approaches to problem-solving to address some of the world’s biggest issues, such as climate change and healthcare.
