Summary

Join Steplab’s Rachel Ball to discuss Instructional Coaching: the evidence and iterations. This presentation will discuss why Instructional Coaching is such a brilliant form of Professional Development. It will demonstrate the different parts of the Instructional coaching cycle and how this fits in with what we know makes good PD, from the recent EEF report as well as how it can effectively change teacher habits. 
 
Rachel Ball is a Coaching Development Lead at Steplab and experienced school leader, most recently as Teaching and Learning lead and SLE. She is a writer and blogger, and has recently co-edited a book for History teachers; What is History Teaching, Now.
