Meeting of Minds - Supporting Science Education in Somerset RN219 / C21
Summary
Devon and Somerset SLP are really keen to offer support to Somerset schools and would like to invite you to our new science network launch event.
We are offering free pizza, cake and STEM Learning goodies along with the opportunity to network with other science teachers in your area.
During the event, we are hoping to find out how we can support you with CPD and new networks for science leaders, technician, teachers, TAS and ECTs. We are also thinking about setting up a pedagogy/sharing good practice network so it would be great to hear your views on this. Our local STEM ambassador hub will be at the event to talk about their support and fully funded opportunities for your school.

Outcomes
You will be able to:
- work collaboratively to identify priorities in science teaching and learning and in science-specific professional development for your teams
- share and develop strategies to tackle these issues, drawing on expertise as needed from outside the network
