The speaker, Matt Brookes, is a Professor of Physics at the University of Nottingham, where he leads a £6M research program on the development and application of human brain imaging. He is also the director and chair of Cerca Magnetics Limited, which builds novel brain imaging equipment. His work, as well as that of Cerca Magnetics, has received international acclaim, including awards from the Blavatnik Family Foundation, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Physics.
Our future talks will cover various topics, including climate change, gene editing, and the future of engineering.
