Leading and developing an inclusive primary science curriculum for pupils with SEND NY043 / B23
Summary
Teaching pupils with any degree of SEND can present challenges for supporting them to access the entire curriculum.
Alongside colleagues at the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT), we have developed a two day programme aimed specifically at primary teachers which will cover aspects of adaptive teaching, vocabulary development and ways to support children to engage in group tasks.
During the course, we will focus on ways to ensure all pupils can access science activities and take an active part in the learning. You will explore ideas for SEND provision in science, assessment techniques and look at curriculum design with adaptions for SEND.
