Summary

 

This course is for new or less-experienced science leaders and aspiring teachers who might be taking on the science lead role in the near future. Throughout the day we will focus on a variety of key aspects of the science leader's role. This will include curriculum planning, working scientifically, monitoring teaching and learning, including implications of the latest science report from Ofsted, assessment and health & safety. Useful resources will be signposted and participants will be supported to develop an action plan in preparation for the academic year.
