Summary
For participants from all schools.
For schools in the Rockingham Enthuse Partnership, please book onto funded course RK029 B02.
Taking learning outdoors has many benefits and a positive impact on children’s wellbeing. To really ‘Understand the World’ around them, children need to be immersed in the wonders of the great outdoors and engage in a range of activities which promote the characteristics of effective learning. Identify ways to develop your outdoor environment to increase learning opportunities in the physical and natural world and consider how this context can be a stimulus for the development of children’s mathematical, language and communication skills. This information will be used on the customer facing website for filtering purposes and for ITK pathways.
