Summary
This 2-day course will explore a range of practical activities aligned to the course specification for SQA AH Biology.
Lab techniques outlined within unit 1 will be explored within the context of wider investigations/projects that can be performed in class to engage learners with relevant science questions.
The statistical package, R, will be used to analyse data for investigations.

What topics are covered?
- Laboratory techniques for biologists, as outlined in Unit 1 of the course specification for AH biology.
- Statistical analysis, using the programme suite R, as suggested in Unit 3 of the course specification for AH biology.
