Summary
Nicky will lead two incredibly packed half-days of science CPD per year group across the primary school, to accompany her popular book, A Creative Approach to Teaching Science. Every statutory objective in each year group's programme of study will be covered during this CPD, including how to embed working scientifically. You will come away feeling inspired and motivated to breathe life back into Science teaching!
Nicky is dedicated and passionate about primary science education, always looking for innovative ways to inspire children and teachers. She makes primary science ‘hands-on’ and engaging for young children and provides classroom-based training for primary teachers. Nicky is the author of a 'Creative Approach to Primary Science' published in 2017, she is the winner of the Institute of Physics primary teacher of the year as well as the Royal Society of Chemistry Excellence in Primary Education Award.
