Led by Nikki Waller, this network will explore the statutory objectives for each year group, address the requirements for working scientifically and support the development of creative and engaging approaches to teaching Science
Nicky is dedicated and passionate about primary science education, always looking for innovative ways to inspire children and teachers. She makes primary science ‘hands-on’ and engaging for young children and provides classroom-based training for primary teachers. Nicky is the author of a 'Creative Approach to Primary Science' published in 2017, she is the winner of the Institute of Physics primary teacher of the year as well as the Royal Society of Chemistry Excellence in Primary Education Award.
