The control of gene expression (including the structure of DNA)
This is a virtual session supporting teachers at all stages of their teaching biology including teaching out of your science/biology specialism, refreshing your skills, non-science specialists ECTs and ITEs
Together we will explore the knowledge to support your delivery of lessons looking at the structure of DNA including conservative and semi conservative structure leading into gene expression.
This includes totipotent and pluripotent cells, regulation of transcription ad translation, the relationship of gene expression and cancer and gene technologies
