Who is it for?

This Drop-in Session is suitable for teachers across Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Richmondshire, Stockton-on-Tees and Redcar & Cleveland.

For those that are new to computing through to experienced leaders of computing education, we are he to help, support and advise.

What topics are covered?

  • Computing Quality Framework - Getting started and making progress.
  • Cross-curricular computing
  • Physical computing (Crumbles, Micro:bits, Raspberry Pi...)
  • Curriculum design
  • Assessment of computing
  • Computing Subject Knowledge 
  • CPD advise
  • Cybersecurity and e-safety

And any other computing-related topic.

 

How long is this course?

30 minutes. Short and sweet.

It may be that we can arrange an extension at an alternative time for longer themes.
