Summary
A day of CPD suitable for technicians who are new to supporting Chemistry, or who wish to refresh their subject knowledge. Topics will include; states of matter, electrolysis, reactivity, acids and alkalis and rates of reaction.
Outcomes
You will –
· Practice a range of common practical activities used in Chemistry teaching (11-16)
· Identify ways of troubleshooting tricky experiments
· Explore new approaches to some classic investigations
We can support you in identifying the CPD support that you need, provide CPD activity directly from our programme of courses, or work with you to tailor the content to meet your requirements.
Please note funding for this course is available for maintained schools in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber region only. *Schools will be invoiced the full amount of £160 and on attendance of the course £120 will be refunded via a Teacher Release payment.
