Come and join the Stimulating Physics Network coaches and colleagues at this free East Midlands physics network event. We will be sharing ideas for teaching magnetism and electromagnetism. We will be demonstrating a range of teaching strategies, demonstrations and practical work to support student’s understanding of this topic. You will be able to develop solutions, drawing on the expertise within the group and find out about the support provided by STEM Learning in the area.

Outcomes
- You will have a greater awareness of the common mistakes and misconceptions students encounter with magnetism and electromagnetism.
- You will have increased confidence in identifying and addressing those misconceptions.
- You will have experienced a range of different practicals and demonstrations for magnetism and electromagnetism.
- You will have the opportunity to network with other local physics teachers and coaches.
