Summary

This course has been funded by the Bosworth Enthuse partnership for schools from the Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Northampton areas.  Maintained schools outside this area should book onto course RK380 B02. 
Non-attendance will also be charged £80 to avoid wasting the funding.
You will explore how labour market information (LMI) can be incorporated into lesson and curriculum planning. You will discover what LMI is, how to find it and develop ideas, tools and strategies for how it can be planned into lessons.
This short course forms part of our suite of STEM Career professional development modules that can be accessed via our Science Learning Partnerships.

Outcomes

By the end of the course you will :
  • understand what STEM Labour Market Information (LMI) is and the important role it plays in careers education;
  • know how to find national and local STEM LMI and keep it up to date;
  • explore ideas for embedding LMI into your lessons and extra-curricular activity.
