Summary
This training day focusses on the computer science strand of the computing curriculum. The day will start by examining computer science within the National Curriculum and understanding Computational Thinking. The journey will start with EYFS before moving into KS1, LKS2 and UKS2, delving into understanding the key computer science concepts for the different year groups. There will be hand-on, practical experience using Scratch and will involve exploring the varied pedagogical approaches to teaching programming.
Delegates will need to bring a laptop, charger, have a Scratch account and to bring lunch.
