Facilitating with STEM Learning (invite only) FD102 / BC04
Summary
This course is for teachers and other educational consultants who are undertaking Stage 1 of the Professional Development Leader Programme and who wish to become accredited with CPD Quality Mark
You should have completed FD101 before completing this course.
This course will enable participants to understand more about STEM Learning, our programmes and our expectations. We will cover how our programmes have research and evidence embedded within them and how we maximise impact to those accessing our CPD. We will explain how we support our Professional Development Leaders who facilitate our courses through the provision of course materials and how these can used to plan delivery. The STEM Learning processes of the Impact Toolkit and STEM Certificates will also be covered to ensure that, as course deliverers, you will be able to encourage participants to engage with these systems.
FD104 is also running on 3rd March 2023 at Skipton Girls' High School, 13:00 - 16:00. If you would like to to complete your Professional Development Leader (for Science) training, please ensure you book on to both FD102 and FD104, as they will be run as a full day's training. If you are a computing specialist then please feel free to book onto FD102 for the morning, however you will need to find an FD103 course to finish your training separately. This is the second of three courses in our Associate facilitator CPD quality mark training.

FD102 Facilitating with STEM Learning - this will cover the processes and rationales for delivering professional development to ensure participants get the highest impact from their learning.
FD103 Facilitating effective professional development in computing - this will help you to identify computing subject-specific principles and considerations when delivering effective professional development
FD104 Facilitating effective professional development in science - this will help you to identify science subject-specific principles and considerations when delivering effective professional development.
