Completing your CQF CN303 / F119
Summary
The Computing Quality Framework (CQF) is an online tool to enable schools to access free support and resources, review their provision and celebrate excellence. To gain accreditation is simple, you just need to talk about what you already do in your department and what you are developing. You probably have the core of this in your Department Development Plans, Ofsted planning, CyberFirst Application or similar.
Have you started your CQF but not sure what to write?
Join our working group for this series of sessions and complete your CQF application by the end of this academic year. Each month we will focus on a different section so you can reflect and make tangible progress on your priorities in Computing.
At each session, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers to identify what you do now that supports the accreditation and leverage your time to get the most out of your CQF application.. You will also be able to access support from dedicated Computing experts.
We will cover aspects including; updating your KS3 curriculum, increasing uptake at KS4 and KS5, introducing STEM clubs and enrichment opportunities, working with local industry professionals, how to improve diversity and inclusion, and supporting non-specialists.

Outcomes
Key Points:
- Complete one section of your CQF each month up to the end of the year when you will be ready to submit your application.
- Get ideas from other schools to help you bring in new initiatives and even just to remind you of all the great things you do already!
- Share the workload across your team.
- No commitment to attend every session.
- By signing up to the series you will be sent a summary of each discussion and any resources in case you are unable to make any sessions, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions and get support even if you can’t be there.
At the end of this journey, you will be ready to submit your CQF application, with confidence that it reflects the great work that goes on in your department. We look forward to supporting you along the way!
