Good subject leadership has a positive impact on the quality of science teaching in primary schools. You will explore a range of strategies to audit and lead science in your school, understand your role more fully and be able to identify and promote effective primary science.
This professional development experience outlines the main elements that characterise the subject leaders role. This isto help participants understand the all encompassing role of the science subject leader. Activities will explore thevariety of roles and areas of understanding which the subject leader needs to understand.
