Summary

Science is all about learning about the world around us. This workshop will explore how stories and real-life contexts can enrich science learning and provide stimulus for deeper discussion around scientific ideas, creating a meaningful scaffold for learning.

We will look at how linking science and literacy makes a huge impact and opens up learning to students with English as an Additional Language and how a literacy-based approach can make a difference to all children’s attainment in science.
