Summary

Join us for our inaugural Secondary Science Week conference - an informative and useful two-hour remote twilight designed to solve all your Science Week questions. The theme of this year's British Science Week is connections, so we have made these connections for you by planning activities that connect Science to all other STEM subjects. We are also connecting science to the lives of every student in a series of 6 fully planned and resourced practical Science Week lessons. On completion of this course participants will receive access to all the lesson resources and a handy how to guide containing detailed information on each activity all for only £25* for schools in the North East and Yorkshire

This online session will include the following:

3:00 - 3:10 Introductions and discussion around connections,

3:10 - 4:10 Science week resources and experiments. 

4:10 - 4:20 Connecting with Maths

4:20 - 4:30 Connecting with Computer Science 

4:40 - 4:50 How STEM Ambassadors can enhance your Science Week offering

4:50 - 5:00 Competition and assembly. 

*We are able to offer funding of £75 for this conference, bringing the cost down to only £25 per participant. Schools will be invoiced the full amount of £100 and the £75 funding will then be automatically refunded upon completion of the course.
