1. Literacy - share materials from literacy session with staff, ask them what they are finding works best, try and agree some common approaches to literacy
2. Y9 - Continue with new Y9 rota plans, and review with staff teachers the success of it at Xmas/January
3. Y11 - Plan towards an agreed end-date (Feb half term, maybe?) by which time all teachers continue teaching Y11 new material, and after which they move into exam prep mode
4. Y11 - Plan for collecting evidence (after mocks?) for what is needed in terms of exam prep – by asking BOTH science staff AND a subset of students about the following:

1. Science content – what can be remembered from previous units / what is the degree of confidence in different science topics
2. Science exam skills – degree of confidence in

1. time management to complete exam papers (while trying to answer every question)
2. reading/understanding all questions
3. tackling questions involving calculations;            involving data/tables/graphs;    involving longer answers/extended writing;          involving core practicals;             other?

review progress on the above, and support planning for current (and future) Y11 – exam skills and prep etc. after all GCSE units have been taught
