Plymouth Primary Support Package RN913 / D02

This package has been designed to provide information advice and guidance to improve the quality of teaching learning in your school with the idea of a recovery curriculum included as an underlying theme. This package is available for all schools to sign up to and then send a teacher along to the 6 CPD session all listed below

What courses are included?Once your school sign up to this package this primary CPD package entitles each school to send a teacher along. The package has been divided up to support both subject leaders and other primary teachers wishing to develop their science teaching skills. • Developing pupil lead investigation• Developing the role of the primary science leader• Developing your primary science curriculum using OFSTED framework• Engaging KS1 science• Engaging KS2 science• Developing working scientifically outside of the classroom

Why subscribe to the package? Package membership gives access to high quality, facilitator led, subject specific CPD. By collaborating with other schools, we increase the opportunity for sharing expertise and good practice. Science teacher have access to a network of colleagues, all of whom will be facing similar challenges and opportunities, and teachers can learn from each other. There are sometimes further opportunities for participating in projects, and schools that are already collaborating are better placed to apply for these (i.e. Ogden Trust and Enthuse partnerships)

How much does it cost my school?The package will be priced at £450 pp including a full day of CPD refreshments and lunch, but Stem Learning are offering a teacher release subsidy of £300 which would make the price @ £150.00 per school.
