Seasonal Science Snacklets - *NSAT RB198 / C173
Summary
Science is happening all around us, every day, wherever we are, which is why we teach science in the classroom. How often do you make the links between what’s happening in the world and your science lessons?
These quick 90-minute online sessions, spread out across the school year, will support you to increase your science capital and help children understand how science impacts on their daily lives both inside and outside of the classroom.
Each session will cover seasonal science appropriate to the time of year and also look at other events that are occurring such as Bonfire night and sporting events
Join us to find some creative ideas to link the NC to the children’s experiences. There will be some time in each session for teachers to share their seasonal gems on the focus theme with each other so please bring along your creative ideas.
Each Session runs from 3.30pm to 5pm
Monday 5th December - Get the tinsel out – Its Christmas!
Tuesday 07th February - Winter Wonderland
Tuesday 14th March - Spring into science with the Easter Bunny
