Our termly Network Meetings for Computing Leads are a chance to meet with colleagues from across the Computing Hub area to discuss effective approaches to Teaching and Learning in the subject.
Aimed at all Secondary schools in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and South Staffordshire, our Computing Leads Network meetings are free to attend. We aim to run two remote meetings in Autumn and Spring, and a local, face-to-face meeting in the Summer term.

Outcomes
Midlands West Computing Hub is funded by Department of Education (DfE) through the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) to support schools and colleges with providing a high-quality Computing education to all young people.
Our interesting, relevant and high-quality Secondary Computing Leads Network meetings aim to:
- develop your computing subject knowledge, pedagogical understanding, and practice
- signpost opportunities to engage in further training and professional development activities
- connect you directly with others and build your professional network
- share ideas and keep you up to date on the latest developments in the Computing subject
- provide mutual support from others, with a shared interest in delivering a world-leading computing education for every learner.
