Biology Technicians Course RM298 / D104
Summary
This practical biology course will explore a range of biology topics and the practicals that can help support students' learning. Covering such topics as plants, microscopy, enzymes, cells, microbiology, photosynthesis, transpiration, enzymes and molecular biology. There will be a mixture of live demonstrations.

We are holding it at Wakehurst place near Haywards Heath, where you will also have a talk from one of their scientist and an opportunity to walk around the grounds
Introduction to Wakehurst
Wakehurst, Kew’s wild botanic garden in the heart of Sussex, is home to the Millennium Seed Bank, over 500 acres of diverse landscapes and plants from across the globe.

A living laboratory and a site of globally-significant plant science, Wakehurst is the perfect place for curious minds and hands-on learning, where pupils are able to explore the largest wild plant seed bank in the world and see ex situ conservation and Kew scientists in action.
Their learning programme welcomes pupils of all ages, abilities and learning needs. From early years to key stage 5 and beyond, Wakehurst is the perfect outdoor classroom.
