Join us for the Cambridge & Peterborough summer term technician forum - topic: “Microscale Practicals”
Intended Learning Outcomes:
- Explain the importance of microscale in reducing hazards associated with chemicals, the quantities of chemicals required (thus economic and environmental impact) as well as participation by every student.
- Discuss the issues surrounding microscale – such as extra technician time to prepare
- Examine and try out microscale activities on 4 commonly encountered GCSE / A level practicals.
- Investigate and discuss whether practicals currently completed in their school could be microscaled.
