Gloucestershire Technicians package RN913 / A11
Summary
Following the success of last summer’s meeting after two-year break, we are looking to grow our vibrant technician network in Gloucestershire. All meetings will provide an opportunity to share good practice and meet with colleagues to discuss current and future training needs. This network meeting package is subsidised by the Department for Education and we look forward to welcoming new colleagues to this network as well as those that have attended meetings in the past. During the year the session will explore issues around new staff, teachers and technicians, ideas to support the GCSE practical skills and ideas to engage and enthuse you and your colleagues and hence pupils
Meeting dates are from 1pm - 3.30pm on each of the dates below:

10th March 2023
23rd June 2023
Cost of package £100 but subsidised by 50% when TRP code applied. Please add the code TRP2223
You can sign your department up for the package and send different colleagues to the sessions depending on the content.

Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Learn about developments in science education which impact on their roles
- Develop expertise in and learn to use and describe new practical ideas and equipment to colleagues
- Resource, design and prepare new practical ideas and equipment
- Network with other technicians and learn from their practice
