Summary
Following on from our Winter/Spring SKE Biology series we have a new set of SKE in Biology based on previous participants suggestions for new sessions for the Summer Term.
Microorganisms are increasingly becoming more important This session is designed to look at this fascinating area of biology, supporting your knowledge and skills. We will explore aseptic techniques and safety with microorganisms. We will also look at the differences between eukaryotes and prokaryotic organisms. Explore how microorganisms are used in the real world.
Whilst looking at improving your knowledge through the session we will look at misconceptions, ways to support your students and share ideas.
Aimed at KS4 biology teachers however if you are looking to improve your subject knowledge then they are suitable for biology teachers teaching at KS3 and KS5. In addition to any ECT or Trainee teachers as well.
*Please note if you do sign-up and do not attend there is a £50 non-attendance charge (unless you inform us prior to the meeting).
