Upskilling the new subject leader RJ198 / C96
Summary
Taking on science in a school can be a challenge, even more so if you are a new Science Leader or just someone who wants to bring new ideas to the role. This course will give you the confidence to bring science to life in your school while finding out how to create a science development plan for the whole school. Step by step, the course helps you assess your school’s current science status, while helping you identify the areas of development and how to make them into strengths.
It will give you the opportunity to work with other science subject leaders and share good practice. There will also be opportunities to look at a wide variety of useful resources, assessment practices and how to organise science events.
