Regional STEM Group Network Meeting RK219 / B11
Summary
The next meeting of the Regional STEM group is FACE TO FACE on Tuesday 3rd May 2022 at 4pm at University of Northampton, Waterside Campus, NN1 5PH
This is the first time we have met at the university and will give us the opportunity to look at their fantastic facilities as we prepare for the Regional STEM Day in June.
The Royal Academy of Engineers have again produced some resources for us to look at during the meeting.
Refreshments will be available on arrival and there is a FREE ‘Light Saver’ and ‘Power Up’ resource available for teachers who attend the meeting.
The resources could be used as part of the curriculum, in STEM clubs or as a drop down activity day.
As in previous years, we will be holding the annual Regional STEM Day event which this year will take place at the University of Northampton on 30th June 2022.
If you have already indicated that you intend to bring a team (or two) to this event please try to attend the meeting on 3rd May as this is the last time we will meet prior to the STEM Day.
If you haven’t indicated that you are bringing students to the STEM Day, please add this date to your diaries and check with your SLT that you can take a group of (year 9) students – there is still room for more teams.
