Summary
This remote CPD event will provide you with both the expertise and the lesson plans/delivery materials for 9 sessions aimed at Year 9 and Year 10 students.
We know that GCSE success is built on a firm conception of the big ideas of science. These lessons aim to reinforce former learning and provide a firm hook to establish GCSE knowledge. These lessons could also be delivered as standalone hour sessions.
Who is this for: Secondary science teachers or tutors who wish to provide whole class or small group tuition to revisit key concepts in readiness for GCSE

- have an understanding of the importance of the big ideas in science
- know the underpinning pedagogical principles which inform the lesson design
- have materials to i) deliver and ii) assess the impact of the lesson delivery
