T Level Science Subject Knowledge Enhancement: Chemistry RX056 / HC02
Summary
Are you teaching outside of your specialism or looking to improve your chemistry subject knowledge for delivery of T Level* Science? This course will help you to prepare for teaching T Level Science and will focus on the subject knowledge needed to teach the chemistry content of the core component.
The course will also provide insight into some teaching approaches and resources that can be used to deliver the topics and is suitable for any teachers that are planning to teach T Level Science in schools or colleges and would like some support with enhancing their subject knowledge. It would be particularly suitable for non-specialists in this area and/or newly/recently qualified teachers.

Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- enhance your subject knowledge of the chemistry core (B1) and further science (B2) concepts:
- materials and chemical properties
- acids/bases and chemical change
- formulae and equations
- chemical analysis of substances
- rates of reactions and kinetic changes
- analytical techniques
- gain insight into teaching approaches and applications that could be used for these topics
- identify resources that can be used to support the teaching of these topics
