Summary
The conference will be an opportunity for Heads of Science, Biology/Chemistry/Physics Subject Leads, Key Stage 3/4 co-ordinators and SLT to reflect and evaluate the intent, implementation and impact of their science curriculum, through engaging with the most current research and best practice in science education.
The day will begin with keynote Jasper Green HMI, Ofsted Science Subject Lead, providing insight in to the latest evidence based research surrounding the science curriculum and the importance of progression in substantive and disciplinary knowledge. Delegates will then have a choice of various 1hr workshops to attend focusing on the implementation of their curriculum. Finally the day will end with a chance for delegates to pose their questions to a panel focusing on the impact of the Science curriculum and assessment
