Summary

Two years ago, Salters Technician Network North East were excited to be planning a half day networking event, including a session from the Royal Society of Chemistry - but Covid 19 put paid to those plans.

Since then, schools have been forced to take drastic measures to keep their staff and students safe. Different schools have taken vastly different approaches to the delivery of practical science. Through it all, technicians have played a pivotal role in ensuring that practical work could continue in some form, even if it was happening in an English classroom.

Now that things are getting back to normal, we would like to invite technicians from across the region to join us for this network meeting, which will provide an opportunity to re-engage with colleagues in other schools, to share stories and lessons learned from the last 2 years and to help shape future network events.
