Implementing BEST Evidence Physics into your practice SP200 / M03

Start date
17 Jun 22
1 Hour

“The best teaching draws on the best evidence”Amid increasing calls for evidence-based practice in classrooms, science teachers’ lives are usually too busy for them to comprehensively access and implement the best evidence we can find emerging from education research.

Best Evidence Science Teaching (BEST) is a large collection of free resources for secondary school science. The resources have been developed from the best research evidence on common misunderstandings in science, effective diagnostic questioning and formative assessment, constructivist approaches to building understanding, and effective sequencing of key concepts.

These physics courses form part of the Stimulating Physics Network programme of support. They are fully funded by the DfE and are open to all English maintained secondary educators, not just to SPN partner schools. Please select the course you are interested in attending from the list to find out more and to book your place. Please be sure to note the venue; some are remote courses and the venue will appear as “virtual”, and some are delivered face to face and may be in your locality.
