Dr Niki Kaiser, Chemistry Teacher and Network Research Lead

Dr Niki Kaiser is a Chemistry Teacher and Assistant Headteacher at Notre Dame High School in Norwich, and Director of the Norwich Research School.

She’s a believer that research should always begin with 'why’, then look at the 'what' and 'how’ along with looking at ways of applying the research.

Dr Niki Kaiser will discuss the topic: Chemistry Misconceptions.

 

Stephen Lyon, Mathematics Lead at STEM Learning

He has taught mathematics for over 35 years in a variety of secondary schools, including working as a Head of Mathematics. Working for STEM, he works with teachers who deliver mathematics across all STEM subjects.

Stephen is also the Post 16 Lead for the Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.

Stephen Lyon will discuss: How to teach Maths in Chemistry.
