Meeting electrolysis at KS4 requires students to master a number of new terms that can be confusing. You will pick up good teaching ideas to reinforce the essential new language while gaining confidence in the key chemical ideas.
Electrolysis is a redox process and that link will be emphasised, building on the key understanding that ions can move. A range of engaging practical activities will also be shared.
