Warmup for ARM/NCCE Cambs & E.Northants Hub Innovation day CH303 / i04
Summary
Arm and the NCCE/STEM Computing Curriculum Hub for Cambs & E.Northants would like to welcome you to an "onboarding" session for Arm/NCCE Innovation Day to be held 8th July 2022.
The innovation day is a whole day STEM project where learners are presented with challenges based on the Global Goals that they will build and program a solution for using micro:bits. The innovation day is competitive with prizes for the best projects and where learners demonstrate 21st century skills.
You will find out all about the competition, the supporting resources and the objectives for your students in Year 8. Four competitors from your school will be invited to a secret cybersecurity data centre just outside Cambridge to engage in a day of extraordinary cyber adventures.
The only criteria is that the Year 8 groups are formed with two girls and two boys, from a maintained school in one of the local area districts supported by the hub** and that they can be accompanied by a teacher on the day.
