Summary
Join the Kent and Medway Grammar School Association Computer Science Professional Development Group. This is the first of our biannual network meetings of teachers within the computing departments of the Kent and Medway Grammar School Association.
Outcomes
The aim of this meeting is to reconnect and share good practice across the network of computing departments. We aim to summarise the lessons that we have learnt from the Teacher Assessed Grades process from last academic year and collaborate on how computing departments can best prepare our students for the examination process this coming summer. We aim to review the exam papers at GCSE and A-Level that were issued in November 2021 and draw conclusions that could help us prepare for exams and assessments in 2022.
The session also aims to help departments to prepare and develop the computing curriculum in preparation for an Ofsted Deep Dive. There will also be an opportunity to meet representatives from Teach Computing and Isaac Computer Science to understand how these organisations are developing support for Computing departments.
