Summary

 

This is a brand new Primary Science network, aimed a Science Subject Leads across the area but open to all Primary teachers. Throughout the year the sessions will cover a variety of topics, allowing an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and share best practice. During these meetings, you will explore various science activities and tools to provide an engaging experience for young learners. Content covered includes inspirational science investigations, developing thinking skills, improving literacy and a teacher toolbox of science activities.

 

As the first session of the network, this session will be free to attend! Come along to see what the network has to offer to you and your school.

Who is the course leader?

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • explore various activities that link literacy with science
  • develop a suite of science activities that can inspire and engage young learners
  • develop a toolbox of ideas for science investigations that can be woven into the primary curriculum
