Secondary science CPD conference RM227 / C02
Summary
Oxfordshire and Reading SLP are running a Secondary conference taking place on Friday 8th July at RAL rescheuled from March. Early bird discount applies if you book before the end if the term. We are delighted to welcome Ed Walsh as our keynote speaker. Ed is an education consultant specialising in science. A teacher for 20 years and a team leader for 12 of those, he was appointed Science Consultant with Cornwall Learning, then Regional Adviser and later Senior Adviser with the National Strategies. He is an author, editor, curriculum developer and CPD provider, and you may well have seen his name on a variety of textbooks and resources.
In addition, we have workshops involving tours of ISIS and Diamond, teaching physics with games, sequencing practical and maths skills in science, a James Webb Space Telescope workshop and many more – booking link below, we are intending this to be face to face but may move it online depending on the Covid situation locally, please encourage a member of your department to sign up.
