Secondary Science Conference (remote) SW - making a difference in your school RN227 / A05
From remote learning to curtailed practical science lessons the challenges in science education over the last year have been many and varied. So there has never been a more important time to find out about ways in which you can enhance the learning of young people.
Whether you are an experienced teacher, or leader you will have the opportunity to network, share and develop ideas and discuss best practice through a series of workshops.
This day conference programme is designed to meet the current needs of schools. Led by practising teachers and Stem Learning consultants we have a complied a series of sessions to accommodate a range of professional learning needs designed to maximise impact on student learning and outcomes. Workshops will include
Learning from the latest Ofsted review,
tackling misconceptions,· moving into subject leadership,· meeting the needs of low attainers (literacy focus),· impact of covid 19 on pupil attainment and implications for science teaching,· retrieval practice in sciencePlus many more! Each session is 45 minutes long with a 15-minute turnaround between each session allowing you and your colleagues to drop in from your school or home computer. Multiple sessions will run in tandem and will be recorded and made available to registered delegates one week after the event.
