The facilitator development programme is our flagship approach to recruiting and developing facilitators for a teacher and school-led national CPD programme.

This second stage builds on the skills developed through stage one and will help you move from delivery of effective professional development, to leading and developing CPD to meet the needs of individual schools. You will learn how to use and embed pedagogical content knowledge and how to plan and develop effective strategies through the consultancy cycle.
This course is for those who have gained accreditation as Associate Facilitators who have gained experience of local CPD facilitation.
Successful completion of this course will result in the accreditation of our Lead Facilitator CPD Quality Mark .

Who is the course leader?

Outcomes

You will be able to:
  • use data to plan and develop an action plan for support
  • use the consultancy cycle to set, support and exit consultancy work
  • adapt CPD to meet the specific needs of a group
  • consider the differences between face to face and other CPD delivery modes.
