Summary

Black History month is a time for us to reflect on the diversity within our curriculum. Join facilitator Joe Arday as he shares his work in developing guidance on how to ensure your curriculum is culturally diverse. Joe worked with the Raspberry Pi research team on the production of their guide “Delivering a culturally relevant computing curriculum: new guide for teachers”. In this one-hour session, Joe will support you in understanding the benefits of a responsive and relevant curriculum as well as the opportunity to speak to one of the Raspberry Pi researchers. Following the session, you will be able to access an audit to use in your school and continued support to reflect on your findings and keep in touch with Joe and other educators in a STEM community group.
