Tinkering with Space Engineering NN026 / A21
Summary
Bring engineering into your primary school through the exciting topic of Space Exploration. This 3 session course will take a blended approach, being delivered by both remote and a face to face hands-on practical workshop. The activities are based around the European Space Agency’s (ESA) new robotic rover Rosalind Franklin and NASA’S Mars rover, Perseverance. There will be an opportunity to design, build and test models using basic materials and the latest technologies for robots including robotic arms, rovers and space probes. Teachers will work through a complete unit of work on the progression of rocketry skills across the primary curriculum.
Session timings will be confirmed nearer the time. Please contact Gill Humes if you have any questions.
