Summary
This course will enhance your middle manager skills and identify what type of manager you are. The course begins with evaluating the current strengths and identifying areas for development before a Subject Deep Dive. Is your science policy ( the intention) matched to your implementation? How can you monitor and evaluate effectively and have you solved the perennial issue of resourcing. The course will look at the new requirements in light of the Ofsted framework and includes information and advice about assessing science within the national curriculum. A course for established subject leaders.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- reflect on intentions, implementation and impact to ensure science is lead effectively
- provide example and learning from successful schools to enable you to lead change in your school
