Ofsted- Is your science department providing high quality? (1hr)
We will explore what the latest Ofsted research review into high quality science education means for curriculum and department leadership, for teaching and learning, and for inspection.
Hints and tips for better revision - Making use of the advanced information in your teaching of year 11 (15mins)
We will look at ideas and materials that are available to support you in preparing your 11 for the exams 2022 and there will be an opportunity for discussion and sharing of ideas.
Using grade descriptors - How can assessment have greater impact? (45 mins)
Following the recent positive feedback on this session, David Shakespeare will repeat and explore the how the 2020-21 changes at GCSE have provided a new framework which can be used to drive meaningful assessments, not only for grading, but also for better teaching and student progress. (You may wish to opt out of this session If you attended the examinations update session held on 15th February.)
