STEM Learning Network Partners new starters training RF904 / G05
Summary
This one day training session is for any new starter at a Computing Hub or Science Learning Partnership who joined from May 2021 onwards. This live session will complement the training guidance and videos that will have been shared with you when you first started your role. The day will be a mixture of live demos & interactive training delivered by colleagues from STEM Learning.
During the day we will:
- Introduce you to STEM Learning, our Science Learning Partnerships and Computing Hubs.
- Explain how our Network operates and where you fit in.
- We will talk you through all of the different systems that we use, carefully explaining what each is for, and what you will use them for.
- Do hands-on training covering:
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Adobe Connect
- Microsoft Power BI

You will come away from this day understanding:
- Who STEM Learning is and where you fit in
- How our booking system (Microsoft Dynamics) works, specifically how to upload and manage courses
- How to setup and manage an online course using Adobe Connect
- Where to find all training guidance
- Where to find support and help
- Your next steps for development
