Peterborough primary science network - summer term RH121 / A61
Summary
Join us for the Peterborough summer term primary science network meeting led by Jane Banham.
As well as our normal update section, the focus for this meeting will be following up on the Ofsted recovery report by looking at how we can support pupils in learning a range of skills required to work through the scientific process. We will look at ways to model the skill, then examine how we can provide an opportunity for pupils to practice the skill and finally look at the next steps which truly sees if the pupils have understood it, by getting them to apply the skill. This will also help in supporting yourself and colleagues in the progression of science enquiry skills.
We are delighted to welcome special guest speaker Gareth Richards from the Royal Academy of Engineering who will be launching an exciting project for Peterborough schools.
If you are a member of our primary subscription package, or would like to find out more about it, please contact training@swaveseyvc.co.uk before making your booking.
